Author Page for Edna Foster

My mother, Edna Foster, a retired elementary school teacher, wrote eighteen poems about her life from birth to twelve years old. We compiled a 44-page colorful book and included a Family History Spotlight for each poem. Toward the center of the book is a two page insert of photographs from her childhood.

She told many stories from her childhood while I was growing up, such as, "The Useful Sandbox," "Breaking Out the House," and "Mom's Surprise."  "Lost in a Fire," is one heart wrenching story that I learned from her in the process of compiling this book.  Order Here.

Members of our family will cherish this book because of mentions of grandparents and extended family.  Anyone who loves to reminisce about farm life will also love this book, and children will enjoy the stories set to poetry. Enjoy the preview below:
